About NEULPAN

Not a school.
A proper learning experience.

NEULPAN started as a Hebrew language project for people who wanted to genuinely communicate — not just pass a placement test. Over time, brilliant teachers of English and Arabic joined us, each sharing the same ethos: rigorous, engaged, and rather enjoyable.

We currently run nine groups, and many of our students stay on semester after semester. Which is either a testament to how good we are, or how much they enjoy the atmosphere. Probably both.

All lessons take place online via Zoom — so wherever you are in the UK, you can join us without a commute.

Consistent schedule

Regularity is the key to forming a habit. Fewer than three sessions a week and the language simply doesn't take root. We've seen it. It's not pretty.

Long enough to get properly into it. Short enough that you remain functional afterwards. We've tested both limits and settled on two hours.

Small groups mean you can't fade into the background. Every student gets attention, correction, and encouragement. We reach everyone.

You Speak
From the very first lesson. Yes, it's slightly terrifying. Yes, it absolutely works. You'll be answering questions before the nerves have had time to settle in.

  • Interview There's a placement interview. We don't trust standardised tests. We assess your level ourselves — a proper conversation about where you are and where you want to go.
  • No filter Teachers and students both say what they think. This is an environment of honest feedback. If something isn't working, it gets said. We expect the same in return.
  • Challenge We laugh a great deal. Almost nobody cries. But there will be moments that push you — and those are precisely when you make the most progress.
